How to play
- A river town is flooding in a storm. Fly out from the dry hilltop helipad at the left end of the valley and bring the townspeople home before the water takes their roofs.
- Fly with the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. Up adds lift, left and right tilt and fly, and down descends. You keep your momentum, so ease off early. On a phone, use the four flight buttons.
- Hover low and slow over a roof, with the rope ladder swinging near the people, and they climb aboard one at a time. The cabin holds eight, and a full cabin climbs slowly.
- Land on the helipad to unload and refuel. Every person delivered scores 100 points. Fuel burns whenever you are in the air, and a dry tank means a hard fall.
- The water rises all mission long, and each roof goes under in turn. Low roofs go first, so choose your order. Anyone left on a roof that floods is lost.
- Storm cells flicker before a lightning strike hits their column, so slip out of the way. Gusts shove you sideways, power lines and towers stand in the valley, and debris drifts on the flood. The water itself will sink you.
- A crash costs that helicopter and everyone aboard it. You have three helicopters a game. A mission ends when every roof is empty or under water, and a clean mission with nobody lost pays a bonus.
- Four valleys come in order, each worse than the last, and then they all return with faster water and harder storms. Press P or Esc to pause and M to mute.
Each valley is the same every time, so you can plan a route. Your best score is kept on this device.
